Miminat Designs presents a new winter showcase with Atlas Gallery
From 2 December to 28 February, Miminat Designs will host a winter exhibition at its St John’s Wood atelier in collaboration with Atlas Gallery. The showcase brings together a selection of photographic works with Miminat’s sculptural furniture, creating a quiet dialogue between nature, architecture and form. The exhibition explores the meeting point between the raw geometry of brutalism and the softer, organic shapes that inform Miminat Shodeinde’s design language. Works on display include photographs by Sebastião Salgado, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Kacper Kowalski, ranging from expansive landscapes to more abstract compositions. At the centre of the space is a special edition of Miminat’s Howard Daybed, reimagined with upholstery inspired by her Yoruba heritage. The exhibition is open by appointment throughout the winter season.
3/31Pelican House’s Sona Collection
Pelican House has introduced the Sona collection, a set of handwoven rugs made in India and Nepal. “Sona,” meaning gold in Hindi, refers to the warmth that runs through the designs. The collection takes its cues from local light, landscape and symmetry, translating those impressions into simple patterns and soft textures. Each rug is made using traditional weaving techniques and natural fibres, giving the pieces a gentle, irregular character. The overall effect is calm and understated, with designs that work easily in both modern and more traditional rooms.
4/31A new sculptural candle from dbCeramic and VERDEN
Ceramicist Deborah Brett has collaborated with natural fragrance house VERDEN on a new candle for the season. The Festivum candle pairs Brett’s hand-shaped porcelain with a scent inspired by Nordic winter traditions. The fragrance combines cedarwood, pine, cinnamon, clove and gingerlily with lighter notes of nutmeg and black pepper. Made with natural vegetable wax and essential oils, each candle is cast and finished in Stoke-on-Trent by a long-established family factory.
5/31Feldspar and Berdoulat expand their collaboration with new lighting
Feldspar and Berdoulat are adding to their ongoing collaboration with a small lighting collection inspired by the forms of French pâtisserie. Designed jointly by the two studios, the pieces reflect their shared interest in craftsmanship and are made in England from fine bone china. The collection introduces a Canelé pendant with a matching ceiling rose in two sizes, along with two wall lights, the Madeleine and the Brioche. The designs have the gentle simplicity that runs through all Feldspar’s work while nodding to the sculptural shapes that define classic French baking.
Natalie Dodd6/31Jessie de Salis launches the Como Collection
Textile designer Jessie de Salis has introduced a new collection of hand-printed linens inspired by the landscapes and soft colours of Lake Como. She spends part of each summer there, and the palette reflects those scenes: sun-faded pinks, terracotta tones, chalky blues and simple stripes. Working from her Somerset studio, she develops every fabric with her cousin, textile designer Alice Jacoby, using water-based inks and natural seaweed dyes. Each pattern is drawn by hand and screen-printed onto linen, giving the fabrics a gentle irregularity that feels warm and personal. The collection brings together quiet checks, stripes and organic shapes, intended to mix easily with existing textiles.

Joe Sweeney brings a playful twist to gingham with Colours of Arley
Colours of Arley has teamed up with conceptual artist Joe Sweeney on a small collection of table and kitchen textiles that take a light-hearted approach to a familiar pattern. The range includes a tablecloth, napkins, apron and oven glove, all printed with a gingham-style grid that reveals itself, on closer look, to be made from Sweeney’s handwritten phrase “Check Please.” The design combines the comfort of a classic check with a subtle, slightly mischievous edge. Crafted by Colours of Arley with their usual attention to detail, the pieces are designed for everyday use while adding a graphic note to the table.
10/31Bettina Ceramica and Colours of Arley debut a new lamp
Bettina Ceramica has collaborated with Colours of Arley on a limited-edition table lamp that brings together the two studios’ shared interest in form and colour. The ceramic base is made in small batches near Florence and finished with a glossy white glaze that echoes the soft, undulating lines of Bettina Ceramica’s Gigli pieces. Colours of Arley contributes a cuboid shade made from its linen-cotton fabric, with each side showing a single block of colour. The result is a simple, sculptural light that introduces both texture and a graphic note to a room.

26/31Kimpton Fitzroy London and illustrator Fee Greening launch ‘A Place at the Table’, a limited edition bone china plate collection
Renowned hotel Kimpton Fitzroy London has teamed up with acclaimed illustrator Fee Greening to launch a limited-edition fine bone china plate collection celebrating trailblazing women of the early 1900s who have connections to the city’s famed Bloomsbury area.
Titled ‘A Place at the Table,’ the collection honours suffragette Princess Sophia Duleep Singh, African American abolitionist and doctor Sarah Parker Remond, and poet Christina Rossetti, with three designs full of symbolism that recognises each woman’s underacknowledged contribution to British history.
Using her signature dip pen and ink style, Dorset-based artist Fee Greening spent hours hand-drawing each intricate design. A detailed imagining of a scene from Goblin Market pays tribute to Rossetti’s most iconic poem; a bold “Votes for Women” sign represents Singh’s brave activism; and a lectern symbolises Remond’s powerful advocacy across women’s rights and the abolitionist movement.
The plates are £130 per set and now available to purchase exclusively from Kimpton Fitzroy London. £20 from every set will be donated to local charity Coram.
The collection is also available to view at the Fitz Parlour from 8am to 10pm, free of charge.
