Her Stranger Things on-screen counterpart may call Hawkins, Indiana home, but where does Millie Bobby Brown actually live? Ever since being cast as Eleven back in 2015, Brown has kept her base near Atlanta, Georgia, where the show is primarily filmed, and with the fifth and final season of Stranger Things returning to screens on November 27, it’s the perfect moment to look back at the places she has called home. The British actor was born in Marbella, Spain, but grew up in Dorset, England, and then in Orlando, Florida, from age eight. There, she started taking acting classes and quickly relocated with her family to Los Angeles to pursue it as a career. Within just three years, she was filming the first season of Stranger Things and soon became a bona fide star.

These days, Millie Bobby Brown lives on a bucolic Georgia farm where she takes care of an impressive herd of farm animals and rescue dogs with her husband, Jake Bongiovi (fellow actor and son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi), and their recently adopted baby daughter. “It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey – she’s taught us so much already,” Brown said of motherhood in an interview with British Vogue in November. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.” Read on to learn more about The Electric State star’s home life.

Georgia farm

Brown and her family settled in Atlanta when Stranger Things began filming its first season in 2015. “My parents didn’t want me to stay or live in LA,” she explained on the Call Her Daddy podcast in March 2025. “They really wanted to kind of shelter me from the society out here, just ‘cause it can be overwhelming for child actors. So they kept me in Georgia, and then I lived with them up until I was 18.” When she came of age in 2022, Brown bought her first house—but she didn’t go far. “At that point, I had like two dogs in my room and a rabbit, and [my parents] were like, ‘no more animals,’” she told podcast host Alex Cooper. “And I was like, ‘That’s gonna be a problem.’ So I ended up moving. I bought a house right next to them.” Brown quickly made good on her newfound freedom to acquire more animals; as of the recording of the podcast, she owned 25 farm animals (sheep, goats, cows, horses, and chickens), 10 dogs (who sleep in bed with Brown when Bongiovi is away), four cats, and 23 additional dogs who live on the property in a sanctuary as part of Brown’s rescue company, Joey’s Friends. “I love being untraditional and unconventional in so many ways of my life,” she told Cooper.

Even though she has now wrapped filming Stranger Things, the actor is staying firmly put in Georgia, not too far from the Atlanta film studio where the series was filmed. “I grew up here, you know?” Brown explained to British Vogue about the decision to stay in town after the show wrapped. “This is the longest place I’ve been consecutively in my life because of Stranger Things. For me, this is my home.”

The star spilled more about life on the farm to Vanity Fair in February 2025. “You think animals are peaceful, but there’s so much chaos. My animals are loud, and it’s messy, and my dogs are crazy. And there is, you know, laughter and a lot of passion and excitement, and it is a very vibrant place. There is so much chaos, and that is where I thrive,” she said. In that same interview, the Enola Holmes star responded to online chatter declaring her a “trad wife,” explaining why that characterization is far from her reality. “I’m not doing it for the aesthetic,” she told the magazine. “I’m doing it because I love it. There are maybe some trad wives out there doing it because it seems wholesome, but it is not. If you’re not picking up horse shit or washing a cow with your bare hands, then that life is not made for you. At all.” That wild farm life even spills indoors sometimes: “I had a 200-pound sheep in my house at one point,” Brown told British Vogue. “He was ripping my curtains down.”

Not much else is known about the property, but we do know that Brown makes good use of the kitchen. “I cook every night,” she told Cooper. “I love cooking. That’s where I find I can put all my anxiety: into cooking. And I’m really good. I make steak frites. I make paella. I make roast dinner, which is like an English Thanksgiving dinner, but I make that every Sunday.”

This is still Brown’s primary residence.

Around the time Brown bought her Atlanta-area home, she also bought a pad in London. And just like the Georgia residence, the property she chose is right next to that of her parents, the actor revealed on Call Her Daddy. In 2022, she said in an interview that she splits her time between London and Atlanta. Brown has kept a tight lid on the details of the dwelling. In 2024, she told The Standard that she “hop[s] around different hotels” while in London, though her interview on Call Her Daddy indicates that she still maintained the London pad as of March 2025.

Though we weren’t able to confirm, tabloids allege that Brown and Bongiovi bought a vacation home on the UK’s Devon coast in 2024 for around $5.24 million. According to the reports, the modern abode is located in the small town of Salcombe and hosts five bedrooms and numerous balconies that overlook the coastal view. Perhaps time will tell if this rumor is indeed true—but for now, the British star can mostly be found relishing in the simple life on her Georgia farm.
